Lead and develop key accounts
-
Builds and manages relationships within the clients and with agency partners (media, creative, marketing partners
-
Solid understanding of (Digital) Marketing, Technology, and accompanying Facebook advertising solutions
-
Experience in ad tech/online marketing technologies and understands how to implement them for an effective and efficient marketing strategy
-
Drive product adoption
-
Capability to work in equal partnerships with client partners, identifying, creating, and implementing marketing solutions grounded on achieving measurable business results for our business partners
-
Innovation-based solution perspective, building on client needs
-
Radar for lighthouse innovation opportunities, with focus on projects that unlock new sources of revenue
-
Strong profiling as external advisor, educating clients and agencies on product solutions and best practices, and ultimately grow existing business partnerships
-
Ability to translate business objectives into campaign strategy, proposing campaign structures and implementing measurement solutions (actionable insights, translate results into recommendations)

Consulting skills towards clients and agencies in the field of planning, execution, ongoing reporting and optimization of campaigns
-
Highly developed data analytics skills, translating data into insights to guide strategy and implementation of Facebook solutions

Natural confidence and strong presence towards decision makers

Collaborative by nature, in working with a highly diverse group of cross functional teams, internally and externally
Facebook Jobs in Sub-Saharan Africa-Minimum Qualifications
-
5+ years’ previous experience in marketing, media and/or consulting companies
-
Experience within the marketing industry and business development trends within the industry
-
Understanding of both brand marketing and online (performance) marketing and major advertising success metrics
-
Experience in working effectively with cross functional teams and across different levels of senior management (internally and externally)
-
Experience with analyzing datasets delivering upon actionable insights required, advanced Excel skills preferred
-
Need for strong project management, communication and prioritization skills and internal/external partner management
-
Ability to communicate, collaborate and work effectively in an experienced team
-
Ability to confidently present to external clients
-
Strong passion for Technology and Facebook mission
-
Have a good Customer and industry Knowledge

Previous Experience working within E-Commerce, EdTech OR FinTech is beneficial

Fluency in English

Develop and execute the strategy to ensure growth and achievement of revenue objectives across a multi-country region

Provide regional leadership to teams, giving guidance in developing strategic partnerships that leverage the complete Facebook proposition

Represent Facebook, delivering keynote speeches at industry conferences and events
-
Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing the pipeline of opportunities and weekly sales forecasts

Drive the highest levels of client service and improve relationships and process

Build and maintain C-suite level clients by identifying incremental and business transformation opportunities

Collaborate with internal, cross market/regional teams to ensure product improvement, transfer knowledge, improving process/client relationship

Actively participate in the MEA leadership team, EMEA and global teams where appropriate, embracing the company mission

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrable relevant experience in marketing, media or technology and proven experience in managing regional sales and marketing operations

15 years + of Sales Management experience

Proven and consistent track record of executing against aggressive growth strategies and delivering against targets in excess of company expectations

Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve their best with a team approach
-
Experience managing international and national accounts and delivering the highest service levels to these clients
-
Experience working with and knowledge of advertising agencies and groups
-
Deep understanding of television, Internet and other media advertising
-
Experience delivering success in a global, matrix organisation
-
High caliber sales and marketing professional with experience of working across multiple geographies
-
Results and detail orientated, visionary leadership, organisational, and problem solving/decision making skills
-
Intelligent, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
