Communications Executive-Latest NGO jobs in Nigeria-Sozo Networks 

The Communications Officer will support our internal and external communications strategy, write and disseminate publicity material, respond to inquiries from the public and media, and coordinate promotional events. To succeed as a Communications Officer, you should be able to think creatively, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Communications Executive must be able to successfully:

• Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audience.
• Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the organization’s activities, products and/or services.
• Develop comprehensive communication activities that tie into the overall strategy of the company
• Respond to media inquiries, arrange interviews, and act as a spokesperson for the organization.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with journalists, and maintain a media database.
• Maintain contacts and relationships with key external stakeholders to safeguard the brand image of the company and protect the company’s reputational assets.
• Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the brand, and coordinate publicity events as required.
• Maintain records of media coverage and collate analytics and metrics.
• Proficiency in design and publishing software.
• Manage conflict as it arises and escalate to management.

Finance & Administration Executive-Latest NGO jobs in Nigeria-Sozo Networks 

The Finance & Administration Executive will be responsible for overseeing all financial project management, as well as general office services. Position is contingent upon receipt of donor funding.

The Finance & Administration Executive must be able to successfully:

• Manage the accounting, finance, and administration components of the program, including petty cash funds and field office finance, accounting, and administrative activities;
• Supervise office staff and day to day administration at the local office; works with projects staff to ensure successful implementation of organizational projects.
• Establish program financial management systems, procedures and controls to ensure consistency with Sozo Networks standard operating procedures and Nigerian government policies;
• Coordinate monthly requests for funds to ensure projects has all necessary funds for operations, and coordinate and oversee program tendering and procurement activities in country;
• Advise organizational staff on financial health through the provision of regular and timely financial expenditure reports;
• Review and approve all vouchers prepared (disbursement, receipt, and general journal vouchers) for expenditures and ensure that expenses are reasonable, allowable, and allocable to the project;
• Maintain financial controls and procedures for the management of funds and sub awards/contracts;
• Supervise project staff, consultants, and partners working in finance and administration for projects;
• Produce budget projections, analysis, and reports for review and action by the COP, Sozo Networks and for submission to Funders;
• Manage financial files and support annual audits.
• Coordinate financial and contractual requirements for grants to local organizations and technical services provided to the organization.
• Oversee payroll procedures and HR policies for staff, ensure adherence to local labor laws, and manage all tax reporting;
• Other duties as assigned.
